Explore with your Kids at LapsiLand!

With all that FinnFest USA 2013 has to offer, it would be a shame to leave out the kids! The Student Development Complex at Michigan Tech will be home to LapsiLand, a space dedicated to families, offering crafts, music, dance, kid-friendly language workshops, and even just a spot for families to step back from all the action. Check back for specific details as we finalize them.
Quiet Zone: Chill out! Recharge in the Quiet Zone during a fun-filled FinnFest day. Plenty of comfy seating, Finnish children's books and relaxing activities, plus a designated Nursing Station for moms and young children. The Quiet Zone is located near a restroom and locker room and is perfect for families with young children looking for a break in all the action.

Santa Village: Santa lives in Finland, don't ya know. Trek through the Santa Village and let's celebrate Christmas in June, Suomi-style!

Interactive Tables for Kids: Local and regional experts teach and share their skill with kids of all ages. Learn to make authentic crafts with your young ones!
