FinnFest USA 2013's programming committee has, among its members, folks who've been to every FinnFest since 2001, so they understand the institution this festival has become in Finnish American life and are working to make the 2013 celebration as excellent as its predecessors with the distinct quality of our region.

With commitments already in place from several highly-regarded presenters, performers and artists, FinnFest USA 2013 is working constantly to create the finest, most comprehensive slate of programming and entertainment possible. We are striving to include every aspect of Finnish American history and culture we can and are receiving proposals regularly from the people who can provide this well-rounded experience for you.

We are no longer accepting proposals for presenting at our FinnFest. If you have programming questions in general, please email programming committee chairwoman Hilary Virtanen at hilary.virtanen[at]

For vendor booth availability and applications please contact Alana Nolan, tori chair. or 906-487-7217

We're looking to take full advantage of everything the Copper Country has to offer. We'll be sure FinnFest USA 2013 is a cultural festival; our area is full of Finnish American history and culture and we are going to share that with you. We're home to a pair of universities, including one of the nation's leading research institutes, so we'll dedicate some of our programming to the cutting-edge ideas emerging from our own local experts as well as from modern-day Finland.

Be sure to check our news updates regularly to see who's the latest to sign on to share their skills with our guests at FinnFest USA 2013!
