Finnharmonic Symphony Concert  8:00 pm  Calumet Theatre, Calumet
Tickets: $22 adult, $10 student/child
In collaboration with the Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra, PMMF presents a symphony concert featuring the music of Finland.  Conducted by KSO's Joel Neves, the program includes Jukka Linkola's Bass Concerto (performed by Evan Premo), Sibelius' Luonnotar (performed by soprano Mary Bonhag) and other special musical guests.

PMMF will present a free screening of Suzanne Jurva's documentary Yoopera!, detailing the creation of the opera Rockland,  and the Story Line Project, a public arts initiative by Mary Wright, both of which were parts of the 2011 season of the Pine Mountain Music Festival.

PMMF will present a free screening of Rockland: The Opera, filmed during its New World Premiere in 2011 and recently shown on select PBS stations.
 
Bergonzi String Quartet  7:30 pm Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts, MTU Campus
Tickets: $30/adult, $10 student/child
The Bergonzi String Quartet offers fabulous music-making, featuring Sibelius' seldom heard String Quartet, opus 56 in D minor, and a Beethoven string Quartet.
