Here is a general overview of programming set to take place as part of FinnFest USA 2013. All of these events are subject to change, so please visit this site frequently for the most up-to-date information.

• Education symposium “Models and Methods: Exploring the Promise of New Directions & Practices” - Finlandia University Finnish American Heritage Center -  all day/Session one open to general festival registrants
• Business and Technology Forum: “Rediscovering Business and Technology in the New World” - Michigan Tech Memorial Union Building - all day/Special registration and fee required (see web page)
• Finlandia University alumni picnic (Old Main, Finlandia Campus)
• Big Louie Moilanen monument dedication - 4 p.m. * (Finnish American Heritage Center, Hancock)
• Opening ceremony - 7 p.m.*

• Performance of "Beautiful," a Cirque-style dance created expressly for FinnFest - 9:30 p.m. at Rozsa Center

• Italian Hall site ceremony - 2 p.m. * (Calumet)
• Red Metal Radio Show performance of "The Strike"  - 3:30 p.m. - Calumet Theatre
• Mass at St. Paul's church - 3:30 p.m. * (Calumet)
• Finnish-American Chamber of Commerce Roundtable - 3-5 p.m. (Jutila Center, Finlandia Campus) *
• Concert by Sami Jienat Choir and Vicki Gornick, organist, Keweenaw Heritage Center - 5 p.m. (Calumet) $5 admission at the door
• Pasty supper, with music by Turku Wind Band, at Calumet Colosseum - 5-7 p.m.
• Procession to Calumet Theatre, led by Turku Brass Band - 6:45 p.m. *

• Kantele Splash - 3 p.m. * (SDC, MTU Campus) ** Rehearsal:  Kantele players of all abilities practice music for Saturday's program.**

• Screening of documentary film "Yoopera" at Rozsa Center - 1 p.m.
• Finlandia University reception, including special choir performance, Finnish American Heritage Center - 4-7 p.m.
